Authentic Supply
Product identity and requested make reviewed against the exact sourcing requirement.
RO components cover the pressure vessels, housings, pumps, instruments and sealing parts that a reverse osmosis plant is assembled from. Each is specified by what it connects to — element size, operating pressure and port configuration have to be stated together, since a part that fits may still be under-rated for the duty.
ScientificEdge helps laboratories structure product, grade and documentation requirements for instruments, chemicals, filtration systems and consumables before supply is confirmed.

RO components cover the pressure vessels, housings, pumps, instruments and sealing parts that a reverse osmosis plant is assembled from. Each is specified by what it connects to — element size, operating pressure and port configuration have to be stated together, since a part that fits may still be under-rated for the duty.
The most common ordering error in this group is specifying on fit alone. A vessel that accepts the element but is rated below the pump shut-off head is a safety problem, not a compatibility one, and it will pass a fit check.
State three things on every component enquiry: the element or cartridge it serves, the maximum pressure it will see including pump shut-off, and the port or connection configuration. Those three between them resolve almost every question a supplier would otherwise have to ask.
Each type below has its own page with a full specification table, selection guidance and its own enquiry route.
RO pressure vessels house spiral-wound membrane elements under operating pressure.
FRP vessels are fibre reinforced plastic tanks holding filter or ion exchange media in pre-treatment duty — multi-grade filters, activated carbon filters, softeners and iron removal units.
Cartridge filter housings hold one or more filter cartridges in a pressure-tight enclosure.
Dosing pumps meter chemicals into a water treatment train at a controlled rate — antiscalant to prevent scaling, sodium metabisulphite to remove chlorine, acid or alkali for pH correction, and disinfectants.
High pressure pumps generate the applied pressure a reverse osmosis array needs — typically 10 to 17 bar for brackish duty and 55 to 70 bar for seawater.
Flow meters on an RO plant measure permeate, concentrate and feed flow.
Pressure gauges on a water treatment plant measure feed, inter-stage and concentrate pressure, and the differential across cartridge filter housings.
Membrane adapters connect spiral-wound elements to each other and to the pressure vessel end caps.
Sealing parts on an RO plant include brine seals on each element, O-rings on adapters and interconnectors, and gaskets on filter housings and vessel end caps.
Control valves on a water treatment plant direct flow through service, backwash, regeneration and rinse cycles on media and softener vessels, and throttle concentrate and permeate on RO skids.
| Component | Specified by | Typical range |
|---|---|---|
| RO pressure vessels | Element size, pressure class, port configuration | 2.5 to 8 in bore, 300 to 1,200 psi |
| FRP vessels | Vessel diameter, media volume, connection | Filter and softener duty |
| Cartridge filter housings | Cartridge length, end cap, material | PP, SS 304, SS 316 |
| Dosing pumps | Dose rate and injection back pressure | Antiscalant, SMBS, pH correction |
| High pressure pumps | Applied pressure and flow | Brackish and seawater duties differ |
| Flow meters | Line size, flow range, permeate or concentrate | Panel and inline formats |
| Pressure gauges | Range, connection, glycerine filled or dry | Feed, inter-stage and concentrate |
| Membrane adapters | Element size and vessel type | Interconnectors and end adapters |
| O-rings and seals | Size and material compatibility | Brine seals, adapter and housing O-rings |
| Control valves | Line size, pressure rating, actuation | Manual and automatic |
Indicative ranges. Dimensions, ratings and materials follow the datasheet of the component quoted.
A plant designed to run at 14 bar does not only ever see 14 bar. On a blocked discharge or a closed valve, the pump generates its shut-off head, which can be substantially higher, and the vessel sees it.
Select the pressure class against the maximum the system can generate rather than the nominal operating point. This is why brackish plants typically sit in the 300 or 450 psi classes despite operating around 10 to 17 bar, and why seawater duty moves to the 1,000 or 1,200 psi classes.
Water treatment does not have a list price, and any supplier quoting one before seeing a feed analysis is quoting a different plant from the one you need.
On request, and capacity-dependent. Plant pricing moves with capacity, feed water analysis and the recovery target; membranes, cartridges and resins are quoted per element, per lot or per litre of media.
From a single replacement element or a case of cartridges through to full plant scope. Consumable lines are quoted per box or per lot, and the lot size is stated on the quotation.
Confirmed per line item at quotation stage. Stocked consumable lines and made-to-order plant differ substantially, so a single blanket lead time for the category would be misleading — the quotation carries the figure for each line.
GST invoice against company or institutional purchase order. Proforma issued where advance payment or internal approval requires it.
Despatch from Delhi NCR across India, including plant, project and institutional sites. Delivery city and site access are asked for at enquiry because both affect despatch mode.
Technical datasheet for the item quoted, and a test certificate where the principal supplies one with that product. Tender and institutional documentation formats are prepared on request — send the format with the enquiry so the quotation is issued in a form you can submit without rework.
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. The technical fields are what usually decide whether you get a quotation on the first pass or three emails of clarification.
The element or cartridge the component serves, the maximum pressure it will see including pump shut-off, and the port or connection configuration.
For replacements, the make and model of the part being replaced is the fastest route, together with the operating conditions so the offered equivalent is right for the duty as well as the dimensions.
Brine seals, adapter O-rings and housing gaskets, at minimum. They cost very little and are the parts that turn a two-hour element change into a two-day one when they are not on the shelf.
Beyond those, dosing pump diaphragms and a spare pressure gauge are common stock items on plants that cannot afford downtime.
Yes. Component and spares supply is independent of who built the plant. Send the part designation or the plant details and the requirement can be quoted.
Where a brand is specified in your BOQ we quote against it; where none is specified we usually offer more than one option.
